Biography Anne Trager

My deep connection with France has led me to call it home for the past 26 years. It’s not just the baguettes or the wine that keeps me there, but the unique blend of pleasure seeking and creativity that is distinctly French. After working in translation, publishing, and communications for many years, I had a moment of realization in 2011. I couldn’t ignore the fact that there were so many incredible books being written in France that weren’t reaching a wider audience. This is when I founded Le French Book, with the motto “If we love it, we translate it,” focusing on translating crime fiction and thrillers from French to English.
