As a military brat, I have moved frequently between bases throughout my life. I credit my father with instilling in me a deep love of reading from an early age. My early love of reading naturally led to a love of writing, and I cringe when I think of some of my earliest attempts. However, I like to believe that my writing has improved over the years. My main focus has been on mainstream Fantasy, although early pulp titles like “The Shadow” and “Doc Savage” had a significant impact on me. I also have a great appreciation for the “The Green Hornet” TV series, particularly for its ahead-of-its-time treatment of minorities and the presence of Bruce Lee.
In addition to my writing, I have two teenage sons, a husband, and a dog. There is also a cat who believes I belong to her, although I am still arguing that point. As for my age, let’s just say I am old enough and getting older every day.
