Biography Carter Goodrich

Carter Goodrich is a highly acclaimed illustrator who has contributed to sixteen New Yorker covers and served as the lead character designer for Despicable Me. Additionally, he has designed beloved characters for animated films such as Brave, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc, Open Season, and Ratatouille, earning him the International Animated Film Society’s Annie Award for character design. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Goodrich has been honored with the gold medal from the Society of Illustrators in New York on two occasions.
