He continued his television presence with a weekly call-in therapy program titled Night Talk with Dr. David Viscott in the early 1990s. Viscott’s unique approach involved rapidly identifying the source of his callers’ emotional problems, and he also incorporated medical advice and pharmacological information into his shows. However, his peak in popularity was followed by declining health and personal challenges, ultimately leading to his death in 1996. Dr. David Viscott is survived by his four children.
