Biography Graciela Speranza

Born in Buenos Aires in 1957, Graciela Speranza is a critic, writer, and screenwriter. She holds a PhD in literature from the University of Buenos Aires, where she also teaches Argentine literature. Speranza has published several books, including Primera persona: Conversaciones con quince narradores argentinos, Guillermo Kuitca: Obras 1982-1998, Razones intensas, Manuel Puig: Después del fin de la literatura, and her novel Oficios ingleses. She has also contributed to the cultural supplements of the newspapers Página 12 and Clarín, and co-directs the literary and arts magazine Otra parte.
