About J.M. Erickson
J.M. Erickson is a highly educated and experienced clinician, with a bachelor’s degree from Boston College in psychology and sociology, a master’s degree from Simmons School of Social Work, and a post-graduate certification program in psychological trauma, clinical assessment, and treatment from Boston University. Throughout his career, Erickson has served as a critical incident specialist for first responders, provided crisis prevention and clinical intervention training for staff working with high-risk clients, and currently works as a senior clinician in a group practice. In addition to his clinical work, Erickson is also a senior instructor teaching psychopathology, counseling, and ethics to both graduate and undergraduate students at Cambridge College, Massachusetts. He has received accolades for his work, including an Honorable Mention at the Readers’ Favorite 2013 International Book Awards. Currently, Erickson is also working on a science fiction novella series, Future Prometheus. He resides in a suburb north of Boston, Massachusetts, with his wife and two teenagers.
