Jarid Arraes nasceu em Juazeiro do Norte, na região do Cariri (CE), em 12 de Fevereiro de 1991. Ela é uma escritora, cordelista, poeta e autora do premiado “Redemoinho em dia quente”, vencedor do APCA de Literatura na Categoria Contos, e dos livros “Um buraco com meu nome”, “As Lendas de Dandara” e “Heroínas Negras Brasileiras em 15 cordéis”. Atualmente, ela reside em São Paulo (SP), onde criou o Clube da Escrita Para Mulheres e tem mais de 70 títulos publicados em Literatura de Cordel.
