Biography Jeff Corwin

As an Emmy-winning host and wildlife biologist, Jeff Corwin has dedicated his life to the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems. Since his teenage years, he has been passionate about protecting wildlife around the world. Best known as the host of THE JEFF CORWIN EXPERIENCE on Animal Planet, Jeff’s show has reached millions of viewers in the United States and over 70 countries worldwide. He has also authored a book, Living on the Edge: Amazing Relationships in the Natural World, and has partnered with Animal Planet and Discovery Communications as the host and executive producer of THE JEFF CORWIN EXPERIENCE, as well as the executive producer of the series CORWIN’S QUEST.

In addition to his television work, Jeff lectures on wildlife, ecology, and conservation and has established an interactive museum and environmental education center called the EcoZone. He is an expert in rainforest animals and has addressed the General Assembly of the United Nations on the need for rainforest conservation. Jeff holds bachelor of science degrees in biology and anthropology, as well as a master of science degree in wildlife and fisheries conservation. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate in public education from Bridgewater State College for his efforts in educating others about the importance of conserving natural resources and endangered species.
