Who is Jessica Meserve

Jessica Meserve is a talented illustrator and author, best known for her work on the popular Daisy Dawson series. After completing her BA and MA in Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art, she spent four years working in publishing as a Children’s book designer. However, in 2001, she made the bold decision to leave her job and focus on her true passion of children’s illustration. Since then, Jessica has pursued her love of picture books, moving between the UK, Canada, and the US before settling in the UK with her family. She recently completed an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, reigniting her passion for painting and picture books. Her latest book, What Clara Saw, is set to be published by Macmillan in April 2019.
