Who is Kelsey Wroten

Kelsey Wroten is a freelance illustrator and comics artist based in Brooklyn. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from The Kansas City Art Institute in 2015 and has since worked with numerous clients including The New York Times, The New Yorker, NPR, Lucky Peach, Vice, and Slack. Her work has earned her multiple Society of Illustrators awards and has been featured in various publications and platforms such as It’s Nice That, Vice, Made in the Middle, and Illustration Age. When she’s not creating art, Kelsey can be found at home with her partner Allyson, their cat Maggie, and her beloved Buffy the Vampire Slayer Series DVD box set.
