Meet Mari Kurisato, a mother and nonbinary wife in a queer marriage, who is a recovering shut-in and mostly interacts with people virtually. Born to an Ojibwe mother in California in 1977, Mari has had a varied career, working as a teacher, Subway Sandwich Mascot, part-time campaign manager, and digital illustrator.
