Who is Marieke Lucas Rijneveld
Marieke Lucas Rijneveld was raised in a Reformed farming family in North Brabant (NL) before making the move to Utrecht. Known as one of the most talented new voices in Dutch literature, Rijneveld received the C. Buddingh’ Prize for best poetry debut in 2015 for their first poetry collection, Calfskin, and was hailed as literary talent of the year by newspaper de Volkskrant.
