Michael Alan Nelson is an award-winning author who grew up in a small Indiana farming community before making the move to Los Angeles in 2002. He is the recipient of the 2004 New Times 55 Fiction contest for his short-short “The Conspirators” and the 2011 Glyph Comics Award for Best Female Character for his creation Selena from the series “28 Days Later.” Nelson is also known for his critically acclaimed comic series “Hexed,” “Dingo,” and “Fall of Cthulhu,” with ongoing titles such as “Day Men” and a relaunch of “Hexed.” In addition to his comic work, Nelson is set to release his first prose novel, “Hexed: the Sisters of Witchdown,” on May 5th, 2015.
