Michael Dennis McQuay was a prolific American science fiction writer, known for his work in several different series such as Mathew Swain, Ramon and Morgan, The Executioner, and SuperBolan. He also wrote for the Book of Justice series under the pseudonym Jack Arnett and contributed to the Isaac Asimov’s Robot City novels. In addition to his series work, his non-series novel Memories was nominated for a prestigious Philip K. Dick Award in 1987. McQuay’s impact extended beyond his writing, as he spent over a decade teaching creative writing at the University of Central Oklahoma. Unfortunately, his life was cut short by a heart attack at the age of 45 in 1995.
