Biography Owen Laukkanen
Owen Laukkanen made his debut in the thriller genre with THE PROFESSIONALS, which was published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons in spring 2012. Following the success of his first novel, Laukkanen’s sequel, CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE, is set to hit stores on March 21, 2013. Laukkanen’s background includes a Creative Writing BFA from the University of British Columbia, as well as three years in the world of professional poker, where he traveled to high-stakes tournaments across the globe as a writer for www.PokerListings.com. When he’s not writing, Laukkanen is also a commercial fisherman, dividing his time between Vancouver, British Columbia and Prince Edward Island, Canada.
