Biography Robert Lyman
Born in New Zealand, I received my education in Australia and at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Following a 20-year career in the British Army, I transitioned to writing, with my PhD published in 2004 as ‘Slim, Master of War’, a military biography of one of Britain’s most renowned field commanders of World War II. I am honored to be a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and serve as a trustee of the Kohima Educational Trust, dedicated to providing educational opportunities for young learners in Nagaland.
