Who is Roger Levy
I am a London resident who is married with two children. I am thrilled that my third novel, Icarus, was shortlisted for BSFA best novel of 2007, and my latest work, The Rig, has been published by Titan. In addition to my writing, I also have a passion for photography and jazz. Being red/green colorblind, I have a special affinity for black & white photography and naturally gravitate towards the blues in jazz music. The cover of The Rig holds a special place in my heart, not only because it perfectly complements the story, but also because I believe I can see the colors within it.
In conclusion, Roger Levy’s books offer an intriguing exploration of complex and thought-provoking themes, such as the consequences of technological advancement, the nature of humanity, and the impact of power dynamics on society. Through his compelling narratives and well-crafted characters, Levy challenges readers to consider the ethical implications of their actions and the potential pitfalls of unchecked ambition. His thought-provoking novels serve as a cautionary tale, urging readers to reflect on the ways in which societal progress can both empower and dehumanize individuals, ultimately prompting a reevaluation of our own values and priorities.
