Biography William Alexander

The author William Alexander, a Cuban-American, achieved critical acclaim with his first book Goblin Secrets, which won the National Book Award in 2012, as well as the Earphones Award for his audiobook narration. He went on to write three more novels for Middle Grade audiences: Ghoulish Song, Ambassador, and Nomad. With a background in theater, folklore, English, and creative writing, Alexander now teaches at the Vermont College of Fine Arts program in Writing for Children and Young Adults.
