Woods is also known for his image-text novels, including The Complete Collection of People, Places, and Things and his collaboration with J. A. Tyler on No One Told Me I Was Going To Disappear. Additionally, he co-authored the humorous comic strip, Animals in Midlife Crises, with Lincoln Michel for The Rumpus. Currently, Woods is working on a very long story featuring Werner Herzog as a park ranger. Alongside his creative pursuits, Woods is a founder of the online arts journal Action, Yes and holds a teaching position at SUNY Nassau Community College as a professor of English and Creative Writing.
