About Kate London
After graduating from Cambridge University, Kate moved to Paris where she pursued training in theatre. In 2006, she made the career shift to join the Metropolitan Police Service. Starting in uniform, she worked for two years on a response team before transitioning to the CID. Throughout her time with the police, she qualified as a detective constable and went on attachment with the police nationale in France. She concluded her career as part of a Major Investigation Team on SC&01 – the Metropolitan Police Service’s Homicide Command before resigning in August 2014. Post Mortem is her first novel.
