Biography Rebecca Donner

Born in Canada, I spent my childhood moving around from place to place, including Japan, Michigan, Virginia, and California. Throughout all of the changes, my love for books has remained a constant in my life. My third book, All the Frequent Troubles of Our Days, is a unique combination of biography, WWII espionage thriller, and scholarly detective story. Within its pages, I weave together various forms of documentation, including letters, diary entries, notes smuggled out of a Berlin prison, survivors’ testimony, and declassified intelligence documents, to tell the epic story of an American woman who was a leader in Berlin’s underground resistance to Hitler.
